Capital Baptist Home School Co-op offers a structured program of enrichment classes for home schoolers pre-K through 12th grade. Drama classes start in 1st grade with students learning simple pieces of literature, folk tales and poetry. Each successive grade is challenged with more complex exercises and scripts. At the high school level, students study and perform a 75-minute Shakespearean comedy in it's original language.
The ongoing vision of the drama program is to give home schooled students the opportunity to develop discipline, creativity and a deep appreciation of of theatre arts. CYTP is dedicated to producing high-quality performances with themes that give both audience and actor something to think about. The goal of performing Shakespeare is to present the play in a way that anyone can understand, appreciate and be entertained by, even a first grader.
Come join us this year for an evening that your entire family can enjoy.
